We are currently recruiting a Finance Manager to join our Finance business area.
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the management accounting and financial control function. The position also plays a key role in supporting the Financial Controller in maintaining and developing a strong financial control environment in an exciting phase of development and growth.
The role is a 12-month FTC with a minimum 2-3 days per week in our London office.
A snapshot of your day:
- Support month-end and quarter-end process
- Support balance sheet integrity through preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and review of those prepared by the Management Accountants
- Support the Financial Controller in establishing a robust financial control environment, including documentation and evidencing of key controls
- Preparation and calculation of bad debt provision alongside the Accounts Receivable Manager
- Preparation of quarterly Analytical Review of P&L and Balance Sheet for the Group Finance team
- Support end to end audit process
- Preparing quarterly FCA reporting returns for 2 regulated entities
- Oversee and develop a team of 5 who report to the Finance Manager

We would love to hear from if you have:
- Qualified as an Accountant with post qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (FRS 102 and IFRS)
- A confident leader with proven experience of managing finance teams
- Strong communicator with the ability to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders
- Proactive in identifying process improvements and driving efficiencies
- Experience in working with external auditors
- Experience working with multiple accounting & reporting systems and Excel
