Your new company

An established and values-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide hands-on support during a transitional period. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality finance operations while helping to strengthen reporting, controls and processes.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function while coordinating the workload and priorities of a small finance team. This is a hands-on interim position focused on ensuring high-quality finance delivery, enhancing reporting capabilities and strengthening processes and controls, rather than providing strategic leadership. You will be responsible for managing month-end activities, including reconciliations, working papers, variance analysis and the preparation of first-draft management accounts in line with agreed deadlines. You will also support improvements to financial controls, audit readiness and outstanding finance actions, while documenting key finance procedures, policies and standard operating processes. Working closely with both the finance team and wider operational stakeholders, you will help coordinate workloads, priorities, deadlines and escalation points to ensure effective delivery of finance support across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
