Interim Finance Manager – 3 Month Contract
Location: Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire
Contract: 4 months
Working Pattern: Full-time, office based
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Start: ASAP
We are recruiting an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join a well-established, small family-run business on an initial 3-month contract.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who can quickly get to grips with a busy finance function, take ownership of day-to-day operations and provide support to the Finance Director.
You’ll lead a small finance team and ensure the fundamentals are running effectively – from supplier payments and invoice processing through to month-end, cash flow, VAT and payroll.
The Role
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function
- Lead and support a small finance team
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure supplier payments are accurate and made on time
- Manage supplier queries and relationships
- Prioritise and oversee invoice processing
- Lead and support month-end activities
- Prepare and review financial information and reconciliations
- Support cash-flow management
- Oversee VAT returns and payroll processes
- Maintain strong financial controls and processes
- Support the Finance Director with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Ensure issues are identified and resolved proactively

What We're Looking For
We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Finance Manager who can come into the business and make an immediate impact.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller
- Experience working within a small or medium-sized business
- Strong all-round transactional and management finance experience
- Experience managing or supervising a finance team
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Strong supplier management experience
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence working directly with senior management
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous

This would particularly suit an experienced Finance Manager who is immediately available or available at short notice and enjoys working in a hands-on, family-run environment.
