Baker Charles are partnering with an Southwest London based business to hire a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a sick leave cover that is likely to be between 3-9 months in length.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Take ownership of monthly management accounts, overheads reporting, and variance analysis, providing clear insights to drive decision-making.
  • Manage all aspects of payroll, VAT, tax submissions, and statutory compliance, liaising with external partners and authorities.
  • Oversee cash flow management across multiple entities, including reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and fund transfers.
  • Support the year-end audit process and act as the key point of contact for external auditors.
  • Maintain and develop the system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in reporting.
  • Partner with HQ and European entities, ensuring smooth processes for intercompany balances, reporting, and projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and KPI reporting, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making.

What we’re looking for:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – strong finalists may also be considered.
  • Excellent technical skills combined with the ability to explain numbers to non-finance stakeholders.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude, comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to build relationships across the business and influence decision-makers.

This role offers Hybrid working – 3 days in the Southwest London office and is paying a FTC salary of £65,000-£70,000.
