Interim Finance Process Transformation Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Process Transformation Analyst to join our team during an exciting period of change transformation. We are preparing to migrate from our legacy Navision system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Reputable Surrey based Charity is looking to recruit an Interim Finance Process Transformation Analyst.
Description
Key Responsibilities
Process Mapping & Documentation
- Document current "As-Is" finance processes with a heavy focus on the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
- Utilize process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) to create clear visual workflows.
- Establish a comprehensive repository of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Business Central Readiness & Transformation
- Analyze legacy Navision system workflows to identify data and process gaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design optimized "To-Be" processes tailored for Business Central.
- Ensure future-state designs leverage standard Business Central functionality to minimize customization.
Efficiency & Improvement
- Evaluate current P2P workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and manual workarounds.
- Propose scalable, automated solutions to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Align process improvements with internal financial controls and compliance standards.

Change & Stakeholder Management
- Engage with finance, procurement, and IT teams to gather requirements and build consensus.
- Support the broader change transformation strategy by acting as a bridge between technical teams and finance users.
- Assist in preparing training materials and documentation to support staff adoption of the new system.
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Process Transformation Analyst should have:
Experience
- Proven track record as a Finance Process Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar interim role.
- Extensive experience mapping and optimizing the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
- Hands-on experience working with legacy Microsoft Navision and migrating to Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Demonstrated history of delivering within large-scale finance change transformation projects.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in process mapping software (Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles and internal financial controls.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial processes into technical requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with both transactional staff and senior leadership.

Job Offer
- Daily rate between £450 and £500, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary position in the Charity sector based in Surrey.
- Opportunity to make a real impact on financial operations and processes.
