Interim Finance Services Director
Location: London - 8 days per month in office
Contract: Interim - 6 months - Inside IR35
I am supporting a global telecommunications organisation seeking an experienced Interim Finance Services Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across a large-scale international finance services function.
This role will lead the delivery and transformation of finance services across multiple entities, markets and geographies, while ensuring operational excellence, strong governance and high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a large global finance services organisation across multiple countries.
- Drive finance transformation, automation and process optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure effective governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee finance operations including RTR, P2P, Tax, Intercompany and other core finance processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior finance and business stakeholders.
- Deliver service improvements, productivity gains and customer satisfaction enhancements.
- Support ERP implementations and wider finance transformation programmes.
- Lead organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile
I am looking for an experienced finance leader with:
- ACA Qualified from Top10 ideally
- Operational CFO level experience
- Experience in a large complex multinational business
- Telecommunications experience would be useful
- Significant experience leading large-scale global finance operations.
- Strong shared services, GBS or outsourced services experience.
- Track record delivering finance transformation and change programmes.
- Experience managing senior international stakeholders.
- Strong commercial, operational and people leadership capability.
