Interim Finance Transformation Lead.
£700-900 per day
3–6 Month Contract | Outside IR35 or FTC | London (Hybrid) | High-Growth Events Business

This isn't a role where you'll inherit polished processes and spend months tweaking them. You'll join a fast-growing business in the live events and festivals space that's expanding into licensing and talent management. An Interim CFO has already created the transformation roadmap. Now they need someone exceptional to make it happen.
This is an opportunity to build, improve and transform a finance function that is scaling quickly, working directly alongside an experienced CFO with the autonomy to make a real impact.
What you'll be doing
You'll own the delivery of the finance transformation programme, including:

- Redesigning key finance processes across purchase-to-pay, invoice automation, payment runs, banking and month-end close
- Rebuilding management reporting, creating a monthly reporting pack and helping select a new EPM/reporting & budgeting platform
- Improving reporting, controls and efficiency within NetSuite
- Creating robust, documented processes that continue long after you've left
- Building finance foundations for exciting new revenue streams including licensing, partnerships and a talent agency
- Acting as a trusted partner to the Interim CFO, helping shape decisions while rolling your sleeves up and delivering them
We're looking for someone who..
- Is a qualified accountant (ACA preferred, ACCA/CIMA considered)
- Has genuine SME finance transformation experience
- Has personally built reporting, controls and finance processes rather than simply managing established teams
- Is a confident hands-on NetSuite user with strong reporting expertise
- Understands budgeting and revenue recognition across evolving commercial models
- Can challenge senior stakeholders while remaining highly practical and delivery-focused

The details
📍 Location: Exmouth Market, London (1-2 days per week)
🕒 Contract: 3-6 months
📅 Start: Early August
💷 Engagement: Outside IR35 day rate or Fixed Term Contract - we're open to either
