Our client, a leading technology platform, is looking for an Interim Finance Transformation Partner to join their team for an initial period of 6 months. This is a newly created role to redesign and embed the core operational processes that keep finance running. This is a hands-on role and the successful candidate will be comfortable stepping in to run processes while redesigning them.
Description
The responsibilities of the Interim Finance Transformation Partner include but are not limited to:
- Redesign and streamline core finance processes.
- Run operational finance processes as you improve them.
- Transfer manual and offline processes into the finance systems.
- Shorten and stabilise month-end close to improve outcomes.
- Apply AI and automation effectively across the function.
- Partner with teams outside finance to advocate for the adoption of new finance processes.
- Document and embed all changes to allow for smooth handover.

Skills
The skills of the Interim Finance Transformation Partner include but are not limited to:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with demonstrable experience delivering finance change and transformation.
- Hands-on approach and willing to run current processes while designing the changes to replace them.
- System savvy with experience implementing a system end to end.
- Strong Excel is a must and NetSuite would be advantageous.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with exposure to AI tools.
- Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence adoption of new processes.
