Interim Financial Accountant
Location: London (Hybrid)
Sector: Technology / SaaS
Day Rate: £400-500 per day
Start: Immediately
Contract: 6 Months

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed technology business that is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance function through a period of growth and transformation.
Reporting into the Financial Controller/CFO, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the group's financial reporting, whilst supporting improvements to processes, controls, and systems.
This is a hands-on role suited to a technically strong accountant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management and financial accounts.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with group reporting and consolidation.
- Maintain strong financial controls across the business.
- Support cash management and working capital reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors and advisors.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Assist with finance transformation and systems improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant reporting requirements.

Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Management Accountant position.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Experience within a PE-backed, high-growth, or acquisitive environment desirable.
- Strong Excel and financial systems experience.
- Comfortable working hands-on and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
- Available to start immediately.
