Interim Financial Accountant
London | Hybrid Working | Interim - 3 month contract- Day rate
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to join a dynamic public affairs consultancy business. This role offers broad exposure to statutory reporting, audit, compliance, finance transformation and business partnering within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support statutory reporting and compliance activities across multiple European entities.
- Coordinate audit processes, preparing supporting documentation and managing stakeholder communications.
- Assist with tax, VAT and treasury-related activities, including cashflow forecasting and reporting.
- Contribute to finance transformation projects, process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Review and strengthen financial controls and accounting processes.
- Build strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders across international teams.
- Support month-end close, budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

About You
- ACA or CA qualified.
- Ideally 0-3 years post-qualified experience.
- Strong background in audit, financial accounting and statutory reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working across international teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with finance systems.
- Proactive, collaborative and keen to drive process improvements.
