๐Ÿšจ Interim Financial Accountant | 4-Month Contract ๐Ÿšจ ๐Ÿ“ Bath (Hybrid) ๐Ÿ“… September-December 2026 โฐ Interviews next week

I'm currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a large, complex organisation during a critical year-end and audit period. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and working within a busy financial accounts environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation of annual statutory financial statements
  • Managing and coordinating external audit requests and audit deliverables
  • Reviewing and implementing accounting policies, with a focus on FRS102, lease accounting and revenue recognition
  • Supporting financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and year-end activities
  • Working closely with the Financial Accounts Team Leader to ensure a successful year-end reporting cycle

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
