Citadel Source is delighted to partner with a growing, investor-backed organisation to support the recruitment of their new Interim Financial Controller on an initial 6-month FTC.

Reporting to senior leadership, this role offers broad exposure across the business and will suit a hands-on finance leader capable of driving both day-to-day performance and wider finance transformation projects.

The role

This is a broad, operationally focused finance leadership role within a growing and fast-evolving organisation. A key focus will be enhancing the quality and efficiency of month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes, whilst embedding stronger controls and greater financial discipline across the organisation.

The position will also play a critical role in the integration and consolidation of acquired entities, working alongside external advisors and senior stakeholders to simplify structures and support ongoing business growth. Alongside day-to-day financial leadership, the successful candidate will help drive a programme of finance transformation, identifying opportunities to automate processes, improve reporting capability and optimise systems to better support a fast-paced, operationally driven environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
