Interim Financial Controller Role
This Interim Financial Controller role in Portsmouth industrial/manufacturing sector is all about keeping the finance department running smoothly. You'll oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting the business with key insights.

A company operating in the industrial/manufacturing sector and based in Portsmouth. With close links to the M27, the offices are located in a highly commutable area for those who drive and also those travelling by public transport.
Description
- Manage the daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage year-end audits.
- Identify process improvements to enhance financial workflows.
- Lead and support the finance team during the interim period.

Profile
A Successful Interim Financial Controller Should Have
- A strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.

Job Offer
- Daily rate between £425 and £500, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary contract.
