Interim Financial Controller

Partner Financial is collaborating with a high-growth technology business to identify an Interim Financial Controller to join their team. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking and innovative organisation dedicated to delivering leading-edge solutions and driving long-term growth.
As an Interim Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller, overseeing the accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency of the financial function. You will be instrumental in preserving the financial integrity of the organisation, while applying your expertise to provide insights during a period of organisational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and enhancing financial controls and processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinating and ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of monthly management and statutory accounts.
- Overseeing all tax and regulatory compliance, ensuring the prompt preparation of VAT and Corporation Tax computations.
- Collaborating with auditors to ensure an efficient and timely year-end audit process.
- Managing cash flow and working capital, delivering precise and actionable reporting to support business operations.
- Optimising the use of business cash flow, with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Partnering with the Group Financial Controller to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the board and investors.

The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience with organisations undergoing periods of transformation is highly advantageous.
- Expertise in balancing rigorous financial controls while effectively leading a dynamic finance team.
- Comfortable being hands-on and autonomous.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering accurate results within high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
