Interim Financial Controller | 12 month maternity cover contract | Cardiff/hybrid working
Our Client: Our client is a Cardiff based service sector business with a strong reputation for service delivery. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join the business on a long term contract basis.
The Role:
- Responsible for overseeing an experienced finance team in financial reporting, preparation of management accounts, and annual statutory accounts.
- Contribute to key business change projects including IT upgrade.
- Responsible for board reporting, budgeting & forecasting and FP&A activities.
- Act as a business partner to the wider business and work closely with the exec team to produce relevant and timely information for use in the strategic planning process.

About You:
- Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience at FC or Head of Finance level
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Proven budgeting and forecasting skills
- Experience of supporting and driving key business improvement programmes.
