Financial Controller | Hospitality | London | 15-Month Contract
We’re partnering with a growing, multi-site hospitality business to hire a Financial Controller who will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and play a key role in its continued growth.
This is a broad, hands-on role covering financial control, reporting, audit, payroll, systems improvement, and FP&A. You’ll lead and develop the finance team while working closely with senior leadership to improve processes, strengthen controls, and provide meaningful commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities
- Owning month-end and year-end close and balance sheet integrity
- Leading and developing the finance team
- Overseeing AP, AR, payroll, VAT, and statutory reporting
- Managing the external audit process
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting
- Providing commercial insight around trading, margins, and cost control
- Driving automation and improvements across finance systems and processes
About You

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 3+ years’ PQE
- Must have experience within a multi-site hospitality, retail, hotel, or restaurant environment
- Strong month-end, year-end, and statutory audit experience
- Commercially minded and confident partnering with senior stakeholders
- Track record of improving processes, controls, and operational efficiencies
- Hands-on, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
- Advanced Excel skills; exposure to BI tools is advantageous
