Interim Financial Controller
Up to £650 per day

Partner Financial are recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for an upscale hospitality business who are seeking to expand their UK footprint in 2027 and 2028. Reporting into the Group FD, the Interim Financial Controller will take ownership for all aspects of monthly management and financial reporting across a portfolio of sites. The role will also support the wider business with budgeting, forecasting and analysis providing key financial insight to help drive sustainable growth and embed robust financial processes as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the month-end close and delivery of accurate, timely management reporting.
- Balance sheet control, reconciliations, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.
- Leadership of the finance team, ensuring clear ownership, deadlines, and reporting standards.
- Commercial and operational finance support to senior stakeholders across the business.
- Group reporting, consolidations, and reporting across various entities as the business grows.
- Supporting year-end, audit, and statutory reporting requirements where required.
- Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the interim period while minimizing disruption to the existing team.

The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA).
- Previous Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or equivalent experience.
- Strong operational finance experience across management reporting and financial control. Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow.
- Proven ownership of month-end reporting and the ability to improve close processes.
- Experience within a growing business and the confidence to challenge existing processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with stakeholders across the business.
- The judgement and experience to operate independently and deal confidently with issues as they arise.
