PE-Backed Healthcare Organisation | 6-Month Interim Assignment
Global Accounting Network are partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed healthcare organisation that is entering a particularly busy period and is looking to appoint a proven Interim Financial Controller for an initial six-month assignment.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Financial Controller who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, taking ownership and working effectively in an environment where processes are currently quite manual. Alongside delivering the immediate financial priorities, there is a genuine opportunity to identify and implement improvements where they will add value.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial control environment and play a key role in ensuring the business successfully navigates its year-end and upcoming ERP migration.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
