Camino Search is currently supporting a private equity-backed services asset as it looks to onboard an interim Financial Controller for a 3-6-month contract.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will take ownership of all group consolidation activities, statutory reporting, financial controls, and the development of a high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader who is confident operating in a dynamic environment where accuracy, agility, and collaboration are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly consolidated group accounts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery
  • Manage statutory reporting, audit processes, and compliance across multiple legal entities
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting frameworks
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting for the business
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support the executive team and drive business performance
  • Act as a key point of contact for auditors, external advisors, and senior stakeholders
  • Support strategic projects including acquisitions, integrations, and systems enhancements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a group or multi-entity environment, ideally within a services-based organization
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge along with excellent commercial awareness
  • Demonstrable experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled communicator who can explain complex financial information clearly
  • Comfortable working with senior leadership and influencing across the business

Day rate - £550 to £750 per day
