Interim UK Reporting Team Lead – Southend – 5 Month Contract

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Interim UK Reporting Team Lead to join a high profile, fast-paced international business based in Southend.

This is a great opportunity for a strong technical finance professional to step into a 5-month interim assignment, taking ownership of UK reporting, month-end close, audit coordination, cash management, and technical accounting across the UK entities.

📅 5-month contract

About the business

The company is a well-established and highly scaled Southend-based organisation operating within a wider international group. With a substantial UK operation and a large customer base, the business has continued to invest in its technology, production capability, and operational infrastructure. Its Southend operation has fulfilled millions of orders and continues to develop its capacity as demand grows. This is therefore an interesting opportunity for an interim finance professional who enjoys working within a high-volume, group reporting environment and can bring structure, technical knowledge, and pace to a busy UK finance function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
