To provide leadership and continuity within the finance function while executing an existing roadmap established by the CFO, supporting organisational change and ensuring strong financial controls across the function.

Financial Control Leadership
- Strong financial control leadership experience covering:
- Financial controls
- Financial reporting
- Governance
- Risk and compliance within finance functions
- Lead an established team that is currently performing well maintaining stability and morale.
- Be hands-on and operational, not simply strategic.

Deliver the Existing Finance Roadmap
- Execute the finance transformation and improvement plan.
- Maintain momentum rather than redesigning the strategy.
- Make improvements where appropriate but remain aligned to the agreed direction.
- Support an upcoming organisational design (OD) programme within the finance function.
- Manage the implementation of new roles and team structures.
- Bring prior experience of leading teams through organisational restructures or change programmes.

Stakeholder Management
- Build credibility with senior stakeholders including CFO, leadership, Finance leadership team, Transformation leadership and wider business stakeholders
- Influence without causing disruption.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of all the above skills and requirements within a highly regulated sector. A strong communicator and the ability to work successfully across a large number of internal stakeholders will also be essential for the role.
