Interim Financial Controller
£400-£500 per day | 3 Days Onsite | Immediate Start | 3-6 Months
We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a purpose-led organisation on a short-term basis, providing leadership across financial control, statutory reporting, audit and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day financial control and operations function.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow and financial accounting processes.
- Oversee year-end accounts preparation and external audit delivery.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, HMRC and regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
- Support and develop the finance team while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.

About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader.
- Strong technical accounting, audit and VAT knowledge.
- Experience managing finance teams within complex organisations.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
- Charity, public sector or not-for-profit experience would be advantageous.

Contract Details
- Immediate start
- 3-6 month interim contract
- £400-£500 per day
- 3 days per week onsite
- Flexible working available
