About the Role
Zanda is an executive search partner working exclusively with ambitious, founder-led businesses as they scale. We're recruiting on behalf of a bootstrapped, profitable SaaS business for an Interim Financial Controller to stabilise the finance function while they build towards a permanent hire.
The business turns over £25 million and are cash positive with around 150 heads, a third based in the UK and two thirds remote globally. It's a mix of B2B and B2C, pushing hard on B2B growth.

Responsibilities
Finance runs on Xero, with manual processes and work papers covering PayPal, Stripe and CRM integrations. The business is audited under FRS 102. The previous FC has left and a part-time controller is covering month-end in the interim. You'd be working alongside a qualified accountant, and a part-time FP&A resource.
- Hold down actuals independently from day one
- Bring the initiative and technical grounding to improve process rather than just maintain it
- Comfortable with high transaction volumes and payment processors like PayPal and Stripe
- Know Xero well
- Led audits and tightened controls in a previous role

Requirements
- Experience across both B2B and B2C revenue models
- Strong, pragmatic process improvement
Benefits
