We’re supporting a growing, PE‑backed business in need of an experienced Interim Financial Controller to stabilise, strengthen and accelerate the finance function during a period of change.
The Opportunity
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where you’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day finance operations while improving processes, tightening controls and supporting leadership with clear, reliable reporting. You’ll be the steadying force that brings structure, pace and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end, management accounts and cashflow reporting with accuracy and speed
- Strengthen financial controls, processes and documentation
- Oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations and compliance
- Partner with the CFO on forecasting, budgeting and performance insights
- Support system improvements and finance transformation activity
- Provide leadership and guidance to the existing finance team
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager
- Strong technical accounting skills (ideally qualified: ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Ability to operate in fast‑moving, evolving environments
- Experience with NetSuite desirable
- A calm, structured, “get things done” approach
- Experience in PE‑backed or growth businesses is highly advantageous

Contract Details
- Start: Immediate
- Duration: 3–6 months
- Location: Hybrid (on‑site presence required)
- Day Rate: Inside IR35 - £450-500pd
