I'm currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for a successful Swansea-based business. The business has grown significantly over recent years and has customers across the UK and international markets.
Due to a period of transition within the finance team, they are looking for an experienced finance professional to provide interim support and ensure a smooth handover until their new permanent hire is fully embedded.
The Opportunity
Interim Financial Controller
- 3 days per week
- Start ideally in the final week of August to support the September month-end
- The assignment is expected to run until mid-November
- Based on-site in Swansea (can flex to a few days hybrid when settled in)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support month-end close activities
- Review and oversee AP payment runs
- Maintain day-to-day financial controls and reporting processes
- Ensure continuity and stability within the finance function during the transition period
- Work closely with the existing finance team and support handover activities
Ideal Background
- Previous Financial Controller
- Strong month-end and financial reporting expertise
- Able to quickly understand processes and add value from day one
