Interim Financial Controller | PE Backed Healthcare

Day rate - c£450 - £550 per day (outside)
Location - North West (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the wider finance team with acquisition and integration activity, including completion accounts, earn-out calculations and associated financial analysis
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information
  • Analyse and review historical financial information, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring data is accurate across the Group
  • Undertake reconciliations between finance systems, reporting tools and underlying data, working with relevant stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Contribute to a range of ad hoc finance projects, including data analysis, reconciliation work and process improvement initiative

  • Must have proved Private Equity experience
  • Qualified accountant with a strong technical understanding of financial data, reconciliations and financial controls
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work through large and complex datasets while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Previous experience within an audit environment would be beneficial
  • Exposure to acquisitions, post-acquisition integration or wider finance transformation projects would be advantageous
