Your new company

An innovative and rapidly growing technology business operating within a highly regulated, software-led environment is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support a critical statutory filing and finance transformation project. This organisation requires a hands-on finance professional who can quickly take ownership of complex intercompany accounting, multi-currency reconciliations, and statutory reporting preparation. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact within a fast-paced, high-growth business while working fully remotely.

Your new role

As the Interim Financial Controller, you will be brought in to deliver a business-critical assignment focused on ensuring financial records are accurate, reconciled, and ready for statutory filing.

Working independently and liaising with external accountants, you will:

  • Lead the reconciliation and clean-up of a complex multi-currency Xero environment.
  • Review, reconcile, and strengthen US-UK intercompany accounting processes.
  • Manage and document cost-plus transfer pricing arrangements between entities.
  • Ring-fence and analyse key expenditure areas including developer payroll, cloud infrastructure costs, and hardware development expenditure.
  • Prepare and package financial information for statutory reporting and filing purposes.
  • Act as the primary internal finance contact for external accounting partners.
  • Draft supporting financial disclosures relating to going concern assumptions and funding arrangements.
  • Ensure financial data is accurate, well-documented, and audit-ready.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, working proactively to deliver results within tight deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
