Interim Finance Director | £90,000-£110,000 | Bristol (Hybrid) | 12-month FTC
We’re looking for an experienced Interim Finance Director to lead a finance function through a period of maternity cover, providing strong financial control, commercial insight and confident leadership.

As Interim Finance Director in Bristol, you’ll have the autonomy to get close to the numbers, support the wider business and provide stability through an important period.
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead the finance function, creating clarity, accountability and a supportive team environment.
- Deliver accurate management accounts and meaningful insight to senior stakeholders.
- Strengthen financial control, ensuring records, assets and liabilities are well managed.
- Improve forecasting and forward-looking analysis to support commercial decisions.
- Lead the budgeting process and maintain clear oversight of financial performance.
- Manage cash flow and support effective working capital and credit control.
- Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and relationships with external advisers.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and clear financial guidance.
- Keep agreed finance projects and process improvements moving while maintaining business-as-usual delivery.

Why you’re a great fit
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience operating in a senior finance leadership role.
You’ll be comfortable leading and developing a finance team, communicating with senior stakeholders and quickly getting to grips with a new organisation. Strong technical accounting knowledge, commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge constructively will all be important.
