Interim Financial Modeller (PE Backed)

Duration: 6 months+
Location: 1 day per week in Surrey

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
  • Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and scenario analysis.
  • Analyse business performance and key financial drivers.
  • Support management with modelling around growth, profitability, cash flow, and potential transactions.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, commercially relevant analysis.
  • Work closely with the CFO and wider finance team on ad-hoc modelling and analysis.
  • Ensure models are robust, accurate, and clearly structured.

Experience Required

  • ACA or CA qualified.
  • Newly qualified through to approximately 2 years PQE.
  • Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
  • Ideally trained within Transaction Services, Transaction Advisory, or a similar environment.
  • Alternatively, candidates from FP&A, corporate finance, or commercial finance with strong modelling experience will be considered.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through complex financial information.
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in an interim environment.
