Interim Financial Reporting Accountant | 3-6 Month Contract
Location: Hybrid (London)
Day Rate: Competitive, Inside IR35
Duration: 3-6 Months
A leading global technology business is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Accountant to join its finance team during a period of growth and transformation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience to join a fast-paced, innovative organisation and provide critical support through a key reporting cycle.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the business while supporting statutory and regulatory requirements.

- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting packs
- Supporting the production of statutory accounts and year-end audits
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards
- Reviewing and improving financial reporting processes and controls
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and technical accounting matters
- Supporting external auditors and responding to audit queries
- Partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business
- Assisting with ad hoc projects relating to systems, process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience
- Previous experience within a large, complex or listed business environment
- Good understanding of IFRS and technical accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Able to start at short notice or immediately available
