Fire Safety Consultant - 6 Month Initial Contract

3 Days / Week

Day Rate: ~ £500 (depending on experience)

Location: Remote


Can you deliver credible, practical fire safety solutions that make a real difference in a busy hospitality environment?

We are supporting a leading hotel group in their search for a Fire Safety Consultant. This is a back-office advisory role designed to relieve operational pressure and support immediate fire safety needs across their properties. The initial contract is expected to last approximately three to six months, with potential for extension based on performance.

The successful Fire Safety Consultant will:

  • Provide expert fire safety advice, especially regarding properties with atriums and other complex features
  • Assess existing fire safety controls, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions
  • Respond to day-to-day fire safety queries from regional teams, engineers, and operations
  • Review fire safety plans and liaise with regional directors and engineering teams via calls and remote engagement
  • Support the implementation of fire safety improvements to ensure compliance with brand standards and legal requirements

You will need:

  • Diploma in Fire Safety / Fire Engineering and preferably membership of the IFE
  • Proven experience delivering fire safety advice within complex properties
  • Ability to interpret building plans and recommend appropriate fire safety measures
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with non-specialist teams and senior management
  • Flexibility to work partly remotely with some site visits
