Interim FP&A Director – PE-Backed SaaS Business

We are supporting a large, PE-backed SaaS business that is looking to appoint an experienced Interim FP&A Director for an initial 6-month contract.
This is a senior FP&A role working closely with the CFO and wider leadership team, with responsibility for strengthening the Group's planning, forecasting and performance reporting during a key period for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group FP&A function, providing high-quality analysis and insight to the CFO and Board.
- Own the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across the Group.
- Develop and enhance financial models to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Drive analysis of revenue, ARR, margins, EBITDA, cash flow and working capital.
- Produce and improve Board and PE investor reporting, ensuring clear visibility of performance against plan.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to understand performance drivers and challenge assumptions.
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting and forecasting methodologies across a complex, multi-entity environment.
- Support value creation initiatives, including cost optimisation, growth analysis and scenario modelling.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and modelling to support the CFO and senior leadership team.

- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent.
- Significant FP&A leadership experience, ideally at Director / Head of FP&A level.
- Strong experience within SaaS / technology, with a good understanding of ARR, MRR, retention, churn, gross margin and SaaS KPIs.
- Previous experience working within a PE-backed environment and producing investor / Board-level reporting.
- Strong financial modelling and scenario analysis skills.
- Comfortable operating in a large, complex Group environment and working closely with a CFO.
- Available to start quickly and able to work hybrid from London.
