Interim FP&A Manager

Day Rate: £500 per day Contract Length: Initial 6 months Location: London (Hybrid) WS1599
Finatal is partnering with a private equity-backed AI technology business experiencing rapid growth following a period of significant investment and international expansion. The business is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to support the CFO through a critical phase of commercial scaling, process improvement, and investor reporting.
This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence strategic decision-making.

- Leading the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Building and enhancing KPI dashboards across revenue, customer acquisition and profitability metrics
- Delivering detailed board packs and PE investor reporting
- Supporting the implementation of a new FP&A reporting and planning tool
- Developing financial models to support commercial decision-making and growth initiatives
- Partnering with Sales, Operations and Product teams to improve business performance visibility
- Driving improvements in reporting, analysis and forecasting accuracy
Candidate Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent qualification
- Proven FP&A experience within technology, SaaS, AI or high-growth businesses
- Experience operating in a PE-backed environment
- Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis capability
- Advanced Excel skills with experience of BI/reporting tools
- Previous involvement in systems implementations or finance transformation projects
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment

Desirable
- Experience supporting fundraising, M&A or international expansion projects
- Exposure to AI, software or data-driven business models
- Previous use of NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan or similar FP&A systems
