Job Title
We are delighted to be supporting a high-profile organisation with a diverse portfolio of businesses as they seek an experienced finance leader to support in driving the next phase of its finance transformation journey.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead improvements across FP&A, reporting, automation, and financial insight, helping move the function from manual, spreadsheet-heavy processes to a more scalable, data-driven environment. You will also lead a small team and partner with senior stakeholders to improve decision-making and performance visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, simplify and improve existing finance processes, driving efficiency and automation
- Reduce reliance on manual reporting and spreadsheet-based processes
- Redesign management reporting to provide clearer insight and support stronger decision making
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting frameworks
- Strengthen forecasting, planning, and commercial analysis capabilities
- Partner with senior leadership teams to provide financial challenge and strategic support
- Lead and develop a team of four
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years' experience within FP&A, finance reporting, or business partnering
- Demonstrable success leading finance change programmes and improving reporting capabilities
- Strong management reporting, planning, and forecasting expertise
- Experience designing reporting frameworks, KPIs, and performance management processes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability
- Practical experience leveraging AI, automation, and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Platform, and/or Microsoft Copilot
- Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams

Package & Working Arrangement
- Fixed-Term Contract, for 6 months initially
- Hybrid working arrangement - office presence 2-3 days per week (offices near Sheffield)
- Must be available to start by the 1st November
