Interim FP&A Manager
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a large, international, private equity-backed organisation to appoint an Interim FP&A Manager for a 3 month contract. This is a highly visible role within Group Finance, working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to drive cashflow forecasting, liquidity planning, debt analysis and strategic financial decision-making across a complex global business.
The role will suit a hands-on finance professional who can quickly establish credibility, improve forecasting accuracy and provide robust insight in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cashflow Forecasting & Liquidity Management
- Lead the group cashflow forecasting and reporting process.
- Maintain and enhance core cashflow models, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Consolidate, review and challenge forecasts from regional finance teams.
- Analyse short, medium and long-term funding requirements.
- Support senior stakeholders with cashflow and liquidity insights to drive decision-making.

M&A & Integration Support
- Work closely with Corporate Development teams to incorporate acquisitions into group forecasts.
- Support the financial integration of newly acquired businesses.
- Build strong relationships across finance functions to improve forecasting quality and consistency.
Executive Reporting
- Produce regular reporting on cashflow, liquidity and key financial metrics.
- Prepare analysis and commentary for senior leadership and investors.
- Support month-end reporting and forecasting cycles.
Planning & Transformation
- Support annual budgeting and long-range planning processes.
- Drive improvements to forecasting models, reporting tools and finance processes.
- Contribute to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and strategic projects as required.

Candidate Profile
Experience
- Proven experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Treasury or a related analytical finance role.
- Strong cashflow forecasting experience, including both direct and indirect methodologies.
- Experience within complex, multi-entity and/or international businesses.
- Demonstrable track record of improving financial processes, reporting and modelling.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Skills
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
