Interim FP&A Manager

Location: London (Hybrid)
Sector: SaaS / Technology
Day Rate: £500-600 per day
Start: Immediately
Contract: 6-9 Months

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS business that is looking to appoint an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to support the business through an important period of growth.

Reporting directly into the FP&A Director/CFO, you will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis, providing senior stakeholders with the insight required to make informed commercial decisions.

This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially focused FP&A professional who enjoys working closely with the wider business and has experience operating in a PE-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Own monthly forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Produce high-quality monthly management information.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models.
  • Analyse revenue, margins, costs and profitability.
  • Provide commercial insight to senior leadership.
  • Support board and PE investor reporting.
  • Develop and improve KPI reporting across the business.
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to challenge performance and assumptions.
  • Identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Support cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Assist with strategic projects, including M&A and business cases.
  • Improve FP&A processes, systems and reporting.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant preferred.
  • Strong FP&A / commercial finance experience.
  • Previous experience within SaaS, technology or another high-growth environment.
  • PE experience desirable.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Able to start immediately.
