Career Interim FP&A Professional

An exciting opportunity for a career interim FP&A professional to join a growing, consumer-focused organisation on an initial six-month assignment. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insight, support planning activities and influence commercial decision-making.

Our client is a successful and evolving organisation based in Yorkshire looking to strengthen its commercial finance capability. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative leadership team and play a key role in supporting business performance and future growth.

Description

  • Deliver commercial insight to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive performance improvement.
  • Develop reporting and analysis that enhances business visibility.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement across financial planning and reporting processes.
  • Influence decision-making through clear, data-driven insights.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a commercially focused interim finance professional with strong FP&A, business partnering or commercial finance experience gained within a fast-paced consumer or FMCG environment.

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes.
  • The ability to translate complex data into meaningful commercial insight.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience developing reporting and performance analysis to support business performance and growth.
  • Experience within food, drink or FMCG sectors would be highly advantageous.

Job Offer

  • Initial six-month interim assignment with an August start.
