NXTGEN is recruiting an experienced Interim FP&A Manager for a confidential assignment with an established organisation in Cambridgeshire.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Interim FP&A Manager will take responsibility for the planning and analysis function, providing clear financial insight to support business performance and senior-level decision-making.

This is a hands-on interim opportunity requiring someone who can quickly understand the organisation, build credibility with stakeholders and provide immediate support during a key period for the finance team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting
  • Producing performance analysis and meaningful variance commentary
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation
  • Developing financial models and scenario analysis
  • Preparing management information and senior-level presentations
  • Identifying financial risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Supporting ad hoc commercial analysis and strategic projects
  • Leading and developing a small FP&A team
  • Improving reporting, planning and business-partnering processes

The successful Interim FP&A Manager will be a qualified accountant with strong FP&A, commercial finance and senior business-partnering experience. You will be comfortable working with complex financial and operational information, presenting clear recommendations and constructively challenging stakeholders.

Strong financial modelling, advanced Excel and business intelligence skills will be important, alongside the ability to quickly establish yourself within a new environment.

This is an inside IR35 assignment and would suit an experienced interim professional who is immediately available or able to start at short notice.
