Description
Our client, a leading technology platform, is looking for an Interim FP&A Transformation Partner to join their team for a period of 6-12 months. You will design and embed new data, systems and reporting processes across budgeting, forecasting, cash and revenue reporting. The successful candidate will have a change mindset and substantial experience building robust FP&A processes that stand the test of time. This role requires an immediate start.
The responsibilities of the Interim FP&A Transformation Partner include, but are not limited to:
- Design process and data pipelines that populate reporting packs with little manual effort.
- Construct user-friendly forecasting files to allow budget holders to update with ease.
- Redesign the cash forecast and create a durable process for cost ownership allocation.
- Structure data to ensure better workforce planning and dynamic cost modelling.
- Set up streamlined processes for capturing variances and commentary.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business, acting as an internal consultant and change agent.
- Identify opportunities to use AI and automation across FP&A.
- Ad hoc FP&A projects when required.

Skills
The skills of the Interim FP&A Transformation Partner include but are not limited to:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with several years post-qualification experience, ideally in FP&A.
- Knowledge of Google Sheets is essential, and experience with NetSuite and SQL would be advantageous.
- Previous experience building and redesigning budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Hands-on experience with data cleansing, mapping and structuring data to support reporting.
- Proven track record in change management with a strong understanding of technology, data, systems and process design.
- Genuine interest in automation with examples of using these to solve real finance problems.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
