Interim Fund Controller
Location: London
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
We are working with an investment platform that needs an experienced Interim Fund Controller to step into a live environment and take ownership quickly.
The business is going through a period of increased activity, with greater pressure across reporting, liquidity, and fund oversight. They do not need someone to simply maintain an established process. They need someone who can identify what is not working, tighten it up, and ensure delivery stays on track.

The Role
- Own the Quarterly Investor Reporting Process: From start to finish
- Oversee Fund Administrators: Challenge the quality and accuracy of their work
- Collaborate with Investment and Portfolio Teams: On performance, cash flow, and forecasting
- Manage Liquidity: Oversee drawdowns and distributions across the fund
- Lead Relationships with Auditors and External Stakeholders:
- Improve Consistency: Enhance the control and structure of the reporting process

- Experience: Operated as a Fund Controller or in a senior fund finance role within an investment manager
- Knowledge: Understand fund reporting, cash flows, investor requirements, and the practical mechanics of running a fund
- Skills: Comfortable joining a business where some areas need attention and taking control without significant support
- Ideal Candidate: Hands-on, commercially aware, and able to make an immediate difference rather than spend the first few months observing
