Prospectus is excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for an interim fundraiser to join their team. The organisation is a charity that works directly with, and for unpaid carers, providing personalised information, advice, and tailored support making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest. This role is offered on a flexible 9-month contract paying a salary of up to £33,944 per annum, with flexible remote working arrangements and occasional travel to the Strood Head Office or London for team meetings.
The interim fundraiser will be responsible for:
- Securing and sustaining trusts, foundations, and corporate fundraising income to enable the charity to grow its support and impact for carers
- Building positive relationships with previous, current, and prospective funders
- Producing compelling and accurate funding applications and reports
- Using their systems to accurately record and monitor their trust and corporate fundraising
- Undertaking research to identify new funding opportunities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity to communicate the need of our work, demonstrate its impact, and ensure that funders receive high-quality information

- Demonstrable experience in fundraising through trusts, foundations, and/or corporates
- Demonstrable experience of identifying, developing, and delivering successful cases for support
- Demonstrable experience of understanding detailed information from multiple sources and turning it into clear, accurate, and compelling written applications and reports
- Understanding of and an ambitious commitment to the goals and values of the charity
