Prospectus is excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for an interim fundraiser to join their team. The organisation is a charity that works directly with, and for unpaid carers, providing personalised information, advice, and tailored support making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest. With a committed, dedicated staff team and clear plans to scale reach, support, and impact, Carers First lives its values by being positive, collaborative, and ambitious in all it does.

This role is offered on a flexible 9-month contract paying a salary of up to £33,944 per annum, with flexible remote working arrangements and occasional travel to the Strood Head Office or London for team meetings.

  • Producing compelling and accurate funding applications and reports
  • Using their systems to accurately record and monitor their trust and corporate fundraising
  • Undertaking research to identify new funding opportunities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity to communicate the need of our work, demonstrate its impact, and ensure that funders receive high-quality information

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
