Interim Global Head of Reporting

12-Month Fixed Term Contract

London | Hybrid Working

£110,000 - £120,000 + Benefits

A leading UK-listed media organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Global Head of Reporting to join its high-performing finance function on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a pivotal leadership role within a complex international business, offering responsibility for external reporting, group consolidation, technical accounting oversight, and stakeholder engagement at executive and board level. The successful candidate will play a key role during a period of increased reporting activity and strategic change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of annual and interim external financial reporting.
  • Oversee the monthly group consolidation and reporting process.
  • Manage senior reporting and technical accounting teams.
  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors and support Audit Committee reporting.
  • Lead the implementation and communication of new accounting standards.
  • Review complex technical accounting matters and support corporate transaction activity.
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls, and systems.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.

About You

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
  • Significant experience within Group Reporting, Financial Controllership, or Corporate Reporting functions.
  • Strong UK-listed company experience, including annual reports and interim statements.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders, auditors, and governance processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in complex, fast-paced environments.
