Immediately available interim Group Chief Finance Officer (Group CFO) with proven IPO experience — and with a permanent appointment an option for the right person — sought by a substantial and well-established international luxury hospitality group, bringing 25+ years of experience in financial leadership roles within large multinational companies. The group is a recognised leader in its market, with an award-winning portfolio of five-star hotels operated in partnership with globally renowned hospitality brands and a significant development pipeline.
The board is now preparing the group for a successful IPO, and this Group CFO position will play a leading role in that journey — building the financial infrastructure, governance and capital markets readiness required of a listed business.

What you will be doing
- Working alongside the Group FD to lead the group’s IPO readiness programme: strengthening financial controls, corporate governance and reporting to listed-company standards, and managing relationships with advisors, auditors, rating agencies and prospective investors.
- Leading meetings with European brokers in connection with the IPO, supporting the development of the equity story and the route to market.
- Representing the group in high-level meetings with UK and European banks, brokers, lenders and institutional investors.
- Contributing to strategic discussions with the board, including group structure, the development pipeline, acquisitions and the equity story ahead of listing.
- Managing specific projects within group companies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Overseeing financial initiatives to support the group’s growth and pre-IPO goals.

What you will need to succeed in this role
- Immediately available, or available at short notice.
- IPO experience essential — you will have taken a business through an IPO or listing preparation, or operated as CFO of a listed or pre-IPO business.
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- 25+ years of experience in financial leadership roles within large multinational companies; experience in hospitality, leisure or property-backed businesses an advantage.
- Strong background in managing banking and lender relationships across multiple UK, European and international jurisdictions, and experience working with brokers and capital markets advisors.
- Experience in reporting to the board and engaging with external stakeholders including auditors, advisors, brokers and investors.
- Ability to handle complex financial issues with calm rationality and strategic insight.
- Ability to engage with a diverse stakeholder group.
