Introduction

A private equity-backed marketing business is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Group Finance Manager to lead several time-critical finance projects during a busy period. This is a hands-on assignment with a particular focus on capital expenditure reporting, alongside ownership of several group-wide finance workstreams.

The Company

An established, private equity-backed marketing business operating in a fast-paced and growing market. The group has an experienced finance function supporting a broad range of commercial activity. It is currently delivering several finance priorities alongside BAU reporting, including a key December deadline for its capital expenditure reporting workstream.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Interim Senior Group Finance Manager will take ownership of capital expenditure reporting and manage the delivery of several cross-functional finance projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the capital expenditure reporting workstream and delivering the required outputs by the December deadline
  • Producing accurate reporting covering capital spend, commitments, forecasts and variances
  • Improving the consistency, controls and visibility of capital expenditure reporting across the group
  • Managing the insurance renewal process, coordinating internal information and external stakeholders
  • Managing the group's transfer pricing policy and supporting its implementation
  • Consolidating the VAT compliance process from multiple providers to a single provider
  • Preparing and reviewing group-level analysis, reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Building robust Excel models and reporting packs to support decision-making and project delivery
  • Working closely with finance, tax and operational stakeholders to keep each workstream on plan
  • Providing additional senior capacity to the wider group finance team as required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
