Interim Group Financial Controller (6 Months Contract)
As a Interim Group Financial Controller (6months contract), you'll manage the financial operations and reporting to ensure everything runs smoothly. This role is reporting to the Group CFO, and is managing a large team through direct reports to ensure accounting processes and helping the business make informed financial decisions.

Description
- Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders.
- Oversee all accounting and finance operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes to support business goals.
- Supervise and develop a high-performing finance team (c50).
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls and risk management processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive financial strategy and decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial audits and statutory reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.

Profile
A successful Group Financial Controller should have:
- Strong experience in accounting and finance within a larger business, running a larger technical finance team.
- UK based, Current UK accounting standards and IFRS essential.
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
