Interim Group Reporting Manager
My client is a multinational organisation with a complex international finance function based in London. They are looking for an experienced Interim Group Reporting Manager to join the wider Group Finance team and support the delivery of high-quality quarterly financial reporting.
The role will suit someone with strong, practical US GAAP experience who is comfortable operating in a technically focused group reporting environment.
The role
- Prepare US GAAP technical accounting papers and position papers for internal review and external audit
- Support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reporting disclosures
- Provide technical accounting support on ad-hoc queries, transactions, and business projects
- Manage external audit queries, information requests, and reporting workstreams
- Identify accounting and reporting control issues and support their remediation
- Support the preparation of UK statutory accounts and related reporting requirements
- Provide technical accounting guidance and training to finance teams across the wider business
- Research and assess the accounting treatment of transactions and other complex matters
- Support the wider Group Reporting team through quarterly reporting cycles and deadlines

What you'll bring
- ACA, ACCA, or US CPA qualified, or equivalent
- 6+ years' experience in a relevant technical accounting, group reporting, or financial reporting position
- Recent, hands-on US GAAP experience is essential
- Strong experience preparing or reviewing technical accounting papers and position memos
- Experience working with external auditors and managing audit queries and information requests
- Exposure to multi-GAAP reporting would be advantageous
- Experience within a complex or international organisation
- Listed-company or SEC reporting experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical accounting matters clearly
- Comfortable working independently and delivering against tight reporting deadlines
