We’re working with a fast-paced, international business looking to appoint a Group Technical Accounting Manager on a contract basis.
£500 - £600 per day
Sitting within the Group Reporting team, this is a high-profile role supporting quarterly US GAAP reporting, technical accounting and external audit, while partnering with finance teams across the group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing technical accounting papers and position memos
- Supporting quarterly Group reporting and external reporting under US GAAP
- Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors
- Supporting UK statutory reporting under FRS 102
- Identifying control gaps and driving process improvements
- Advising on complex and ad-hoc accounting matters
- Supporting finance training and wider Group projects

What we’re looking for:

- ACA / ACCA / US CPA qualified or equivalent
- Circa 6+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience working across multiple GAAPs
- Proven experience preparing/reviewing technical accounting papers
- Strong external audit experience
- Listed company experience would be advantageous
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and delivering against demanding deadlines
