Part Time - 30hrs per week
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing NHS charity at a pivotal time and play a leading role in helping us make a real difference to patients, families and staff across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Head to Toe is the charity of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT). We provide additional support and services that enhance the outstanding work of NHS colleagues delivering physical health, mental health and social care services throughout the region.
Working in partnership with frontline healthcare teams, we fund innovative projects, initiatives and services that improve patient experience, wellbeing and outcomes. Our mission is to enhance the lives of patients, service users and staff by providing resources and opportunities beyond what can be funded through core NHS budgets.
We are now seeking an experienced charity leader to join us as Interim Head of Charity (Maternity Cover) and help drive the next phase of our development.
Role Summary:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Head to Toe
- Ensure the charity delivers maximum benefit for patients, service users and staff
- Maintain the highest standards of governance, accountability and impact

Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head to Toe Charity Committee, a Sub-Committee of the Trust’s Board
- Work closely with the Trust's Executive Team
- Act as the charity's lead ambassador
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, supporters and partners
- Raise the profile of the charity across the Trust and wider community
- Lead a small, dedicated team
- Oversee all aspects of the charity's fundraising, grant-making, communications, governance and financial management
