Interim Head of Consolidation & Reporting

12 month fixed term contract
up to £95k + bonus
London / Hybrid

We are recruiting for an experienced Interim Head of Consolidation and Reporting to join an established team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. Reporting directly to the Interim Global Head of Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations throughout a period of significant strategic change, specifically through a major transaction. This position provides essential temporary cover, backfilling the BAU activities of permanent team members who have been seconded to transaction-related projects.

You will manage, coach, and mentor a team of Group Financial Accountants and take full ownership of the Group consolidation process, ensuring complex acquisitions, disposals, and one-off corporate transactions are accurately accounted for, and manage global subsidiary relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the monthly Group consolidation process in FCCS, including preparing supporting schedules and gathering balance sheet analytical commentary on working capital movements across the Group.
  • Line managing, coaching, and mentoring the consolidation team of Group Financial Accountants to foster their professional growth.
  • Accounting for complex acquisitions, disposals, and one-off corporate transactions in the system to ensure financial accounts accurately reflect structural changes.
  • Assist with delivering the Group’s Annual Report accurately and on time across Year End and Half Year reporting periods.
  • Managing relationships with the company's subsidiaries globally, serving as a key point of contact and guiding international teams on group reporting requirements.
  • Managing and delivering training on the FCCS consolidation system for new finance team members.
  • Preparing timely forecasts, budgets, and 5-year plans for relevant Group reporting areas.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with key internal stakeholder groups, including Group Tax, Group Treasury, and Group FP&A.
  • Driving process and system improvements across the consolidation and reporting framework.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
