A local authority client of mine are currently on the lookout for an Interim Head of Corporate Finance to join their team for an initial 9-12 month contract.

You will be expected to:

  • Lead annual accounts closedown
  • Manage external audit process
  • Resolve complex accounting issues
  • Review closedown working papers
  • Ensure CIPFA Code compliance
  • Complete outstanding year-end activities
  • Prepare statutory accounts
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support finance team delivery
